Why do Viruses exist?

Last saturday i saw a video of Atrocities Fleet HQ. So i wanted to play that that map too but when i almost finshed downloading it my computer got locked by a virus, if atrocities views this blog i hope he can fix i but i actually think there is a problem with mediafire because i had this problem before when i tried to download a file from it. Someone is going to try to fix my laptop but until then i can't do much on my projects. So the USS Cyclone is going to have to wait. If i however cannot get my files back i'll have to start over again or i won't build it. But i hope i can get my files back and if i can i will have to be more carefull with downloading files so i'll probably change the links to mediafire in my projects to dropbox. I will probably not download files from mediafire anymore.

Yesterday i got may PC back and it turned out there were multiple viruses on it so i recomment you are very carefull when you try to download something from the internet
