How's it going minecrafters? well i assume, so let's get right to it. i am making a winter **season** themed texture pack so that everything is nice and snow covered and plants and trees bare yada yada yada. well there is a, not quite a problem, a annoyance and a how to put this, an easily exploitable bug. as i mentioned earlier the trees will be bare (except for the pine trees [if i can help it]) and they do two unwanted things: since they're solid blocks it's not possible to see the trunk of the tree behind their limbs; because the limbs are solid blocks since you can now put down and pick up leaves legitimately you can see through the gaps in the branches to the bottom of the world. so what i ask is as follows.

can a modder make two adjustments to the game for the pack, namely, make leaves similar to glass in the sense that you can't cheat to see through the world using them, and allow glass to have transparent pixels. pm me if you can/have/want to do it or know someone who can
