Worst spawn EVER!

I was creating a new minecraft world because I've recently grown bored of the other ones i have and found that i spawned on an island in the middle of an ocean.But worst of all there were NO TREE'S!

All who do try this goodluck on surviving and please comment on what you find over the ocean.

OR go in hardcore mode and post "HARDCORE" no quotations.

im using 1.8.1 if u couldnt get one the map i probably put on the wrong seed on. ill try and change it.
