So notch came out with 4 updates in one stage and this one (1.2.4) was my second fav.
It added 4 new blocks and all of them are great.

- darker wood planks
- lighter ones too
- sandstone w/ hieroglyphs (creeper head and faint writing)
- smoother "polished sandstone"
- along with no more TNT ghosts on multiplayer!
