Writting paper?

I think Minecraft should add the ability to write on paper. It's such a simple idea, I'm surprised they haven't added anything like it yet. Perhaps just using an iron bar and ink from a squid to make ink container, and a feather as a pencil to write on paper.

I've seen multiple Minecraft maps with the maps having writing on them, where people have had to go download programs to do it. I think if they added this feature it'd add a new type of game play to the game, storytelling. Without having to download programs or create 7 signs just for a few sentences.

What are your thoughts?

I'm aware now, that they are adding writable books in the update.

It is being added in the next update (1.3) you will be able to craft a book & quill and you'll be able to write in books.

I agree with you! :D It would be great :D It looks so simple but yet still so amazing. They could work totally as maps and signs combined! :D
