First rant!
People making youtube groups.
Now there are two sides to this, there are:
1) The realistic side
and
2) The "I wanna be a wannabe" side
Now most youtube groups (No offence) are in the "I wanna be a wannabe" section, wanting to be a lot like people such as the Yogscast etc..
Although this ok they kinda do things wrong, why? Because they are not ready to make a group!
Eventually the group falls apart and then becomes inactive sadly, I have seen about 15 to 20 groups fall apart and vanish.
Now the realistic side: (Which my group is it)
They start out basic, few members or friends, a starting youtube channel and every now and then make videos to upload as content.
Soon they expand the group by either bringing people they know into the group or like I did, see if the wider world wan't to be apart of the group. (which is why we are a mixed country group!)
This way being a bit more serious, a group can see what is needed in the group and slowly expand instead of just throwing everyone into the group.
(Why cant groups be more like that?)

I would say that you are on the realistic (good) side.
