Flubberschnub's Starfighters Datapack!

NOT FINISHED YET, EARLY ACCESS FOR PATRONS ONLY
(I feel like a jerk for saying that lol but it's not finished so no public release yet!)

This datapack and resource pack add fully functional TIE Fighters and X-Wings to vanilla Minecraft from Star Wars! Currently, the pack is under development, but if you'd really like to try it out, check my Patreon! If not, the pack will be available to the public once it's finished.


You may use the pack on a private server, but you are NOT allowed to use it on large-scale servers for the public. The only public server that has the rights to use my starfighters datapack is StarWarsMC.

This creation is under copyright © 6/10/2021 by Flubberschnub.

Current Features:
- 4 distinct starfighters: TIE/ln, TIE/fo, T-65b X-Wing, and T-70 X-Wing. Interceptors, TIE advanced, A-Wings, etc. are planned.
- Working air combat:
- damage system
- crashing mechanics
- guns
- multiplayer
- different ships have different stats

Planned Features:
- Hyperspace teleportation
- Proton Torpedoes, other weapons
- Evasive maneuvers
- Animations??

I don't know how possible this is (I don't make data packs and don't have any history doing anything similar), I'm only a consumer. But I just thought id ask and see what you thought? There's a really good space travel data pack called "The Expansion" (link: https://www.planetminecraft.com/data-pack/the-expansion-explore-space-in-minecraft/ ) that has space ships for getting to the other planets that, at least to me (again not really experienced here), seem to operate and work relatively similarly? And it would be super cool if you could make these ships compatible with that data pack or maybe make a compatible version. Of course that could be quite difficult and/or impossible but just an idea I had. Also the creator of the expansion has this pack liked so maybe he would be willing to help? I don't know him so I wont pretend to know what either of you can/wanna do but just an idea I had that I wanted to put out there. Data pack looks sweet! I loved your Tron stuff so I cant wait!

Well done! Can't wait to try it out!

So far (according to the video and pics), it looks MUCH nicer than any StarWars datapack or mod I've ever come across!
