The Alchemical Guide ϖ
Have you ever wanted to create a quick potion in your survival world but find it hard to remember all the brewing recipes?
Or are more of a guy that likes to have things neat an organized?
Well look no further! The Alchemical Guide is here and it holds the secrets to easy and pain-free brewing!

How to use
1. Download the zip file
2. Put it into your world's datapack folder
3. Load up your world or type /reload in the chat
4. You can now use a crafting recipe to obtain the book. It's a shapeless recipe using a Book and Quill, a Glass Bottle and a Brewing Stand. (see picture)

Tips!
1. You can use the table of contents to jump to the page of the chapter you want.
2. You can click on any chapter name in red to go back to the table of contents.
3. You can click on any colored text to jump to the page where it explains how to make it.

Bugs
The go-to-page functionality has trouble working when the book in on a lectern. Don't know if it can be fixed by me.

Rewrote the whole book, added more functionality, infused arrows and secrets, fixed some bugs and typos.

I actually made a potion recipe book for myself in my survival world because i can never remember, so something like this where you don't have to write it out and it looks professional is amazing!

does the goto function work without the pack?

Yes it should. I only used Minecraft's native commands. The only reason this is a datapack is because the spawn command is too long for command blocks. Function files on the other hand have no character limit.

will the book work if the datapack is removed.

Yes Logianer is right. The datapack is merely a spawn command. So you can keep the book even if the pack is removed.
