and it reminds you of that one entity!
An entity that existed in the Minecraft Alpha versions.
An entity that terrified the internet.
An entity that stalked players.
An entity that was removed a long time ago…
UNTIL NOW!!!
Herobrine Reborn
You heard right!
I created a data pack and resource pack that brings Herobrine back into vanilla Minecraft!
(There is also a version of the texture pack without the old Minecraft textures, in case you don’t want the classic look.)
The resource pack adds textures and sounds from the Alpha and Beta versions of Minecraft. It also brings back the spooky fog that makes you feel like something is watching you from within it!
You will also need OptiFine for this datapack.
INFORMATIONS:
Herobrine is rare to find because he is well hidden. Sometimes he hides behind objects, sometimes he stands in the fog, and sometimes… he’s standing right behind you.
You’ll come across signs that show Herobrine has already been there, and you’ll feel like you’re being watched the entire time.
It becomes really dark at night, even if your brightness is set to “Bright.” You can’t sleep at night—if you try, you’ll wake up instantly!
The moon will even change into a Blood Moon!
The datapack also works in multiplayer.
Sometimes the shrine doesn’t work immediately—just try again until it does!

How to summon Herobrine?
To summon Herobrine you have to build a shrine!
Herobrine will haunt your world now!!!

What will happen?
You will hear many more cave noises.
He can place signs with creepy messages.
He can change the weather.
You might hear footsteps behind you, even when nothing is there.
Herobrine will rarely spawn in the world and will stalk you from within the fog.
When you look at him, he will disappear and play creepy sounds.
Sometimes you will hear blocks breaking.
Herobrine can set you on fire!
Herobrine can hit you!
He will stalk you in the caves too!
Sometimes you will get random effects, like a brief moment of blindness.
Herobrine can place redstone torches.
Sometimes he will appear behind you, and when you turn around, he will disappear.
Herobrine can kill you!
Sometimes you will hear disturbing, creepy sounds.
Herobrine can jumpscare you.
Herobrine can corrupt mobs, giving them white eyes!

- No shaders enabled (Feels nostalgic)
- Render distance set to 20 or higher (To see more, because the fog is extrem close when not)
- Turn Minecraft music off (Makes it creepier)
- Make sure to have light sources ready when it gets night (Because nights are way darker than normally)
