A datapack adding a enchantment like "Soaring" from Mysticat's video.
To get the items use /function.
There are 3 items, bow, crossbow, and trident.
The trident can only be used in creative mode.
Arrow velocity is not affected by gravity and therefore stays very fast
Tipped arrows do not work but, spectral arrows do.
Try following your arrow in creative.

I'm working on reworking the shield atm.
First of all I found a cool way to nerf the shield without a shield cooldown so enchantments won't be to op.
There will be 6 different shields, normal, copper plated, gold plated, iron plated, diamond plated and netherite plated.
Additionally I came up with ideas for 7 fitting shield specifc enchantments.
I'll be so generous and sahre three of them with you.
Vitality:
Increases your max hp when holding the shield in your offhand. For balancing purposes this ench would max out at lvl two, giving 2 extra hearts on lvl one and 4 extra herats on lvl 2. Probably the most simple one I came up with but I still really like it.
Heat Plated:
Blocking a hit with your shield has a chance of igniting enemys in a 1 block radius around you. The chance increases with the ench lvl maxing out at lvl 3. Maybe lvl 3 could additionally increase the range to 1.5 or 2 blocks I like the idea of this being a nether enchantment meaning you have to get some block/s from the nether to make it.
Ender Shield:
Having a shield with the ender shield ench in your offhand will grant you a chance to block all incoming projectiles in a 2 block radius around yourself. Again chances would increase with the ench. lvl. This is my 2nd fav idea I had and like heat plated you would have to get to the end and gather some recources there to be able to get this enchantment.
