This datapack prevents you from losing your hard earned items to the void.

Details:

If a player falls into the void (or rather below Y -50) they are teleported to Y 500 and take 7 Hearts of damage for a chance to hit a waterbucket, enderpearl or save themselves with their Elytra.

If an item falls into the void (or rather below Y 0) its Gravity is turned off and it floats at Y 1 until it is picked up or despawns. Because of this you can recover your items if you died in the void, using an Elytra or pillaring down with a waterbucket.

Will update to 1.18 if I feel like it at some point, or it is requested. (should still work in 1.17, don't mind the message saying you it's outdated)
