this pack was made in 6 days for the Datapack Jam for 1.21.5

Description
This datapack adds 2 new mobs, a new decoration block and a new workstation (that still doesn't work for villager but will in the future)

Mobs

- pot golem
does nothing, but is cute (i had no time to add more things). It also has really smooth animations, without the use of animated java or objmc
- sculk golem
works a bit like a dog, but when you make it sit it will change mode and will deal damage to all nearby mobs while being stationary. Its completely made out of particles so it looks a lot different compared to other mobs

Blocks

- Assembly Table
Crafted with a 2x2 of iron ingots with 2 planks on top, in some way its the opposite crafting of the smithing table
drop all blocks necessary to build an iron golem or a snow golem on it and then right click to spawn them
drop a carved pumpkin and a sculk block to spawn a sculk golem
drop a carved pumpkin and 3 bricks to spawn a pot golem

- Pot golem head
dropped by pot golems, functions exacly like a pot but has the golem's nose on it too

Because of the lack of time a lot of stuff was cut from the release, like the gold golem and the new villager, that will come in future updates

There was supposed to be some interactions with the mobs the golem killed, but i didn't have the time to add it. Im basically remaking this datapack from the ground up to make everything as efficent as possible and add a lot of stuff scrapped from the initial release. Thanks though

  • there are some translation issues in the pack
  • the custom blocks always get placed in the same direction (try using a furnace and use the furnace rotation to know the rotation of your block)
  • compared to some other packs I feel like it's too much of a prototype

history
1) yeah I used translations instead of item names, for some reason I thought it would have looked cooler, but forgot there where like 100+ languages
2) I have already made rotatable blocks in the past, especially full blocks, literally there's the code to make it face the player because I'm using dispensers but I didn't use it. For the pot I'm just stupid and used item frames, which go against anything I've ever done in datapacks because they can fit in weird places
3)it definitely is a prototype, I didn't make this pack thinking I would get in any of the first places but to use months of old paper drawn ideas as concepts and to test if I can make something interesting without procrastinating, which I cannot do yay

  1. translations are better but is I remember correctly lots of them just didn't have any actual translations and were just the key. Also you don't need 100+ languages, when a language don't has a translation it fall back on english
  2. I personnally like to use library to handle block placing that way I don't loose time on this (I use smithed custom block)
  3. This wasn't a bad thing, I just left a comment explaining why I rated the pack the way rated it

before even starting the "Because of the lack of time a lot of stuff was cut from the release" makes me happy, that mean you took all 6 days on a few functionalities

a few awsome stuff is way better than a lot of bad stuff :P

Actually 2 of the 6 days where used to make the villager, but because I forgot to put the commands into the datapack (I first test most of my ideas in command blocks), when i noticed that the last day, I decided not to put that mechanic in because it would have seemed unfinished. But still I have to thank you for thinking I put so much effort into this pack, makes me happy :)
