This 1.21.11 data pack was made specifically for the Barely Default resource pack by none other than the infamous Mickey Joe. This data pack adds so much new content to vanilla playstyle of the game. Its single player and multiplayer friendly, as I spent a lot of time optimizing everything so you could play with your friends! Make sure to use Optifine or Optifine alternatives like Fabulously Optimized while playing with this data pack and its dependent resource packs.

Content:

This data pack, as mentioned before, adds a variety of new features to enhance your Minecraft gameplay experience.

Biomes and Structures

11 new biomes to venture out and explore, some of which contain new structures, new mobs and new atmospheres.

Mobs

  • Entities now wear and wield custom CIT armor and weapons from the Barely Default resource pack
  • New variants exist in the world to qualify as a "new" type of mob
  • Chance to encounter mini bosses throughout the world, some of which are biome dependent
  • Bosses can be summoned and fought against in search of custom loot and items

Enchantments

46 brand new enchantments; the origins are either inspired by Minecraft Dungeons or are uniquely original

Recipes

  • New food items can be crafted or obtained by collecting ingredients or by killing mobs. Some vanilla mob's loot tables may have changed too
  • Blocks that normally can only be obtained with silk touch are craftable
  • Other miscellaneous items can now be crafted or smelted to make other items

Banner Patterns

Over 90 new banner pattern designs have been added and can be obtained from the different vanilla banner pattern items.

Paintings

52 brand new vanilla style paintings.

Fishing

Over 150 unique fish that can be caught while fishing. To encourage exploration, fish can be caught in different biomes, elevations, weather and even during different times of day.

As of b3.5, players are now able to fish in lava using a netherite fishing rod!

Smithing Templates

10 new armor trim patterns and over 30 new armor trim materials to allow players to customize their gear even further.

Miscellaneous Features

The data pack contains a lot of cool and functional things not mentioned here that you'll have to discover on your own!

Q&A

Question: What version of Minecraft?

Answer: 1.21.11.

Question: Why do items/mobs look normal for me? - OR - Why are there missing textures?

Answer: To reiterate, this data pack was made for the Barely Default resource pack. Make sure you have the resource pack enabled as its made to accompany this project. (Also make sure you are using Optifine or Optifine alternatives like Fabulously Optimized).

Question: Is there a Wiki or Google Document page accessible for players that list the features more in depth?

Answer: You can access the developing wiki here.

Hey, just wanted to make you aware that with the datapack turned on, superflat worlds aren't actually superflat anymore!
Here's an image link so you can get a better idea of what I'm talking about

This is completely normal behavior since the data pack adds new biomes and modifies the world generation. You will find that many other data packs which add biomes will have the same outcome; they conflict with the simplified generation of a superflat world.
