this is the crafting recipe
(different types of slabs used here to show that you can use any wooden slabs)



if you place the bear trap on top of a full solid block, it places a light gray carpet there
if you place it somewhere where it's technically inside a block, it does not place a carpet, and is basically hidden under the block
