Bear Traps can be crafted in the crafting table with three iron ingots and a stone button



Crafting Recipe



They can be placed down and any mob that walks on them, including the player, will be damaged and stuck in place. The only way for a mob to escape is for the trap to be broken.

After a Bear Trap is used it will become closed, to open it and make it usable again a player must press the button at the center of the trap



Bear Traps

Throwing a Redstone Block on the traps will upgrade them into an Upgraded Bear Trap. They work the same as normal ones but only Hostile Mobs will be damaged by walking on them

The bear traps are stuck on the floor, when I try to break them, a button item pops out but the trap is still there! HELP ME FIX THIS!!!

I cant seem to be able to replicate the issue, could you tell me some more info like the version you are on, the block you are placing them on and if you are placing or breaking them in an unusual way?
