Better Advancements

Are you a fan of Vanilla Advancements, but feel like something's missing? This pack adds 65+ brand new Advancements to your world in a way that's true to the base game. Perfect for both singleplayer and SMP worlds.

What Does It Add?

The Datapack currently adds 38 Adventure Advancements, 10 Story Advancements, 11 Husbandry Advancements, 5 End Advancements and 4 Nether Advancements! Most of these Advancements can be completed by simply playing the game and exploring the world, but some will require more effort and dedication to achieve. Will you rise to the challenge? The Datapack also includes a built-in counter, so you can compete with friends to see who can finish all 185 Advancements first!

Hardcode Mode

There are a few Advancements in this pack that require death in some way. If you want to use this pack in Hardcore, you can download it HERE. This is
intended for Hardcore players so you can still complete all of the Advancements without having to die.

Colored Advancements

This pack also makes all of the Advancements have a color assigned to them! This is added to add more variety and make your Advancement Menu experience better. This feature is going to be made its own seperate Resource Pack, stay tuned for that!

Config

/trigger advancements This allows you to see how many Advancments you currently have completed per tab, as well as a total of all your finished Advancements.

/trigger advancements.configThis command allows you to change personal settings for the datapack as well as some global settings (Operator only). The personal settings available right now are being able to change the sound that plays when you complete an Advancement. In global settings, you can change where the Advancement counter will display, as well as being able to toggle the announcing of the Advancements in the chat. Additionally, you can clear an individual's total Advancement progress with a reset.

FAQ
Are you going to backport to 1.XX.X? While I don't plan on making different versions for the different Minecraft releases, I do plan on being up to date when a new update comes out.

Wait a minute. Isn't there a mod called this too? The mod Better Advancements was made known to me after the development and creation of this pack, and therefore is unaffiliated with it.

Is there a documentation for all of the Advancements added? A documentation is being worked on, and will hopefully be released by the next update.

Hi, I really like this pack, thanks for the continued support!

Have you thought of adding the bedrock achievements for parody? might be too much work

I totally forgot to check this lol, I would've said when pigs fly but you already incorporated that in the mean time, maybe one called "when pigs don't fly" kill a pig from fall damage while riding it, or have it needlessly obtuse like drop it from world height to bedrock after getting the levitation affect or something weird.

Thanks for the response and question! -Travis

Sure, you can do /scoreboard objectives setdisplay sidebar if you dont want to see it. I may add a trigger to do this later on however.
