Better Hardcore - Easier, Enhanced Hardcore

This simple datapack turns any world into a hardcore mode world. But this isn't normal hardcore mode. With Better Hardcore, you have 3 lives; each time you die, you lose a life. If you die 3 times, you are forced to spectate the world in shame. But, have no fear. There are two mystical items that can help you avoid this. First is the Life Ward, an item that, should you die, will break, preventing you from losing a life. Second is the Life Amulet, which restores lives very slowly (1 every 40 minutes) when held. These two items protect you, and both can be found in loot chests from things like dungeons and end cities. See if you can survive!
