This datapack will only work correctly if you only change the below settings.

Head over to your server, and go to "config/paper-world-defaults.yml" or "purpur.yml" file.
Find this "allow-non-player-entities-on-scoreboards" and set that to true.

Gamerules
- You can modify gamerules with this commands
1. /scoreboard players set #mcs_arthropods mcs_arthropods.. (0 or 1, 0 = false, 1 = true)
2. /function gamerule:mcs_arthropods/list
- You can also check which game rule is enabled/disabled. (/function gamerule:mcs_arthropods/check_status)

Basic information
- Drops: Iron Nugget (0-1)

Natural Spawning: Overworld; Height: from -16 to 48; Spawn Chance: 10%;
Stronghold; Spawn Chance: 50%
Endermite
Basic information
- Drops: Chorus Fruit (0-1)
Aggressive Bee
Basic information
- Health: 16 ❤️

Behavior
* Attacks other mobs.
* Regeneration.
* Infinite stung.
* Ignores entity, if it wears 1 peice of chainmail armor

Natural Spawning: Overworld; replaces Spider with 5% chance, (0-5)
Cave Spider
Natural Spawning: Overworld; Height: from -32 to 32; Spawn Chance: 10%;
Mineshafts; Spawn Chance: 50%
Spiders

⚠️ Spider has 10% chance to spawn as special.
⚠️ Spiders can hang upside down from the ceiling.



Cobweb Spider

- Armor: 12
- Chance: 1.25%


Abilities
* Sets entities to the cobweb
Regen Spider
Basic information
- Armor: 12
- Chance: 1.25%


Abilities
* Provides regeneration and instant health effects within an 8 block radius to it allies

* Removes the regeneration effect from its target

Poisonous Spider
Basic information
- Armor: 12
- Chance: 1.25%


Abilities
* Summons area effect cloud of poison
Sneaky Spider

- Armor: 12
- Chance: 1.25%

Particles and sound are a great way to differentiate spiders but it would be cool if they come in different sizes too, being Mother Spider bigger sized and their childs smaller sized than the rest of spiders.

Idea: Spiders attack silverfish because, well.. Spiders eat insects and you can right click to grab a silverfish and feed it to a spider and tame it

I like how you took one more step & added new spiders instead of only making the normal spider the only spider capable of throwing webs!

Interesting. I have some suggestions:
1-Change the from "Better Insects" to "Better Arthropods": Sspiders aren't insects.
2-Cave spider should not shoot webs: Balance & parity with MC Dungeons.
3-Less destructive silverfish: Maybe make them turn invisible & still to "hide" when on stone or any of its variants except ores, Nether & End stones & then make them visible & mobile again when a player comes close.
4-Endermite changes: Make endermite spawn naturally in the End. Endermites could have the same "hide" ability that silverfish have but in endstone instead of stone. They could also drop 1-2 endstone.

Would actually be nice to have a chance of Endermites spawning naturally in the Overworld. I know they don't really have much to offer but it makes the world a little more alive. (and annoys Endermen a little bit more.)
