Was scrolling through YouTube the other day and I saw an interesting hypothetical. You are given the chance to get 2 of 5 RPG mechanics, and these are your options:



1. Inventory. You get an extradimensional storage space that can carry about 250Ibs. You do not feel this weight, and no one but you can access it.



2. Skill Points. As with many video games, you would get skill points for doing things. For example, for doing 100 pushups you get a point into strength. However, doing negative things such as sleeping in too late would lose you skill points.

3. Dialogue Options: You would get the ability to choose dialogue options anytime you speak to someone. These will have a guaranteed chance of doing whatever you intend it to. For example, if you're talking to someone and you want to know more about them, you could simply ask and they would be willing to talk to you for as long as you want. (This may sound boring to you extraverts out there, but I'd kill for this ability myself)

4. World Map. Yes, this sounds like something you could Google, but it's a lot more powerful than that. You can see people's exact locations, find treasure, locate possible quests, and more.

5. Combat Encounters: Every time something happens where you could get into a fight, you trigger a combat encounter. You can choose to take down your opponent, or to spare them like in Undertale. The best part is, you can spare ANYTHING. This includes attacks from wild bears or whatever.

Personally, I'd choose the Dialogue and World Map. What do you all think?

Ayo lads, went for my first drive with my dad today! Went to Walmart and back, about 15 minutes. Only almost died in my driveway twice, so that's good.
