Currently just makes the Channeling enchant work without thundering weather too.

The idea behind this datapack is to make trident an actually useful weapon.
There is an update coming where impale increases overall damage of the trident too.

If there are any custom enchantments or just ideas for the existing ones please do list them below.

Possible to make it work with just a chance instead of all the time? I feel like lightning all the time is a little too much.

I was looking for a good while for a datapack that lets me add Sharpness and/or Looting to my trident, but there's none. Maybe you can add that here? If you can add sharpness on tridents, it would make it better than a Netherite Sword, which makes sense for how absurdly rare they are

Much like a bow, you can offhand a trident for ranged. In this way you can cheese looting for now.

Fair enough, I'm still looking for a way to obtain Sharpness tridents in survival though. Thanks for the tip though!

when the snowfall, the riptide will also work, and we can use riptide in powder snow !! or even make a flaming trident when we enchanted fire aspect in the creative mod(which can throw fire trident}
