    Boomerangs Datapack!

    This datapack adds Boomerangs into Minecraft. There are six tiers of Boomerangs which have increasing levels of range and damage.


    Wooden Boomerang:

    Range: 7 Blocks
    Damage: 3 Hearts

    Stone Boomerang:

    Range: 8 Blocks
    Damage: 4 Hearts

    Iron Boomerang:

    Range: 10 Blocks
    Damage: 5 Hearts

    Gold Boomerang:

    Range: 12 Blocks
    Damage: 5.5 Hearts

    Diamond Boomerang:

    Range: 14 Blocks
    Damage: 6 Hearts

    Netherite Boomerang:

    Range: 16 Blocks
    Damage: 8 Hearts


    Each Boomerang has a crafting recipe which is shown in the video.

    the server is on 1.19.4 and the boomerang wont throw is there any way to fix this?

    Be sure the datapack is loaded propperly. Type"/reload" and then try. Let me know if the error persists.

    It only works correctly in version 1.19.4 onwards, right? I tested it on 1.19.2 and the boomerang doesnt do any damage.

    Correct, the datappack is only for versions 1.19.4 and up.

    Seems a bit OP in my opinion, but definitely a nice addition!

    What is the boomerang entity used?

    I buffed it up a little because it might be challenging to hit something with it.

    The datapack uses armor stands, which I perform calculations on and execute from to make it work with some complicated stuff which I won't bore you with lol.

    Sooo cool, i love this one only thing maybe the crafting of the netherite one could be something more vanilla-like. I would recommend using a smithing table you can just as easily do a smithing table custom crafting as you can do with normal crafting table. Other than that nice work man.
