PACK IS BROKEN. WAITING FOR UPDATE IS RECOMMENDED

MADE FOR VERSION 1.17+

Burnsticks
This datapack adds more functionality to campfires. Any entity that dies on a campfire will now drop the cooked version of their loot. For example: Chickens drop Cooked Chicken, Cows drop Steak, etc. The entities also have a visual change when standing on a campfire, they will show the fire animation like they are really on fire.
I also added a parity feature between Bedrock and Java. In Bedrock, you can light a campfire if a player is on fire and standing on an unlit campfire. This datapack adds that feature.

Customization
There is a trigger added to toggle an esthetic feature on or off. This feature adds particles when an entity (that is not immune to campfire damage) is standing on a campfire. When you use the /trigger toggleParticles, you can switch between this feature being true or false. This trigger is set to true by default.

If you have a suggestion you'd like added to the pack or something isn't working properly, please let me know.

How about burning sticks on a campfire makes torches?

Could be funny, but I feel like that’s a bit OP. I’ll think about adding this to the pack. Maybe I could add it as an add-on to the pack.

I see it as a time saver at best. Instead of making a furnace and cooking up a bunch of logs, we instead turn those logs into sticks then right click on a fire for a bit. Either method requires coal or a furnace.

Just a saver of time really. But it's up to you, I'm just sharing my thoughts on this is all.

Aight. I’m gonna think about it. If more people want it I’ll add it.

But the mobs really drop their cooked version of their loot if they died on fire, or is it only on bedrock edition?

The only thing that bedrock has is that you can light a campfire while you're on fire. The cooked drops are a custom loottable thing.
