What is this datapack?

This datapack simply gives campfires the ability to burn items. It is realistic so for example if the campfire isn't lit, the items won't be burned. If it is, they will. Works for both regular and soul campfires. And the item doesn't get killed. Instead it actually gets set on fire.

How do I install it?

1. Download the pack
2. Save the file somewhere
3. Find your saves folder
4. Find your world
5. Open the world folder and go into "datapacks"
6. Unzip the datapack zip file
7. Drag the folder you get into datapacks
8. Load up the world
9. Type "/reload" in chat
10. There should be a message that pops up confirming you installed it correctly.

when i cook anything it burns on the campfire, because it gets dropped

Hm. I didn't think about that... might be a fix but idk if that is possible.

try execute as @e[type=item] at @s if block ~ ~-0.35 ~ minecraft:campfire run tp @s ^ ^ ^1

This should drop the items on the block next to it

I tried it on a singleplayer world and it works just fine
