    If you want some of the mob textures to glow, I recommend installing Optifine or Continuity.

    Crewmate's Prehistory used to be a data pack that was merged with this one but has since split off into its own.

    I once had an SMP that contained this data pack, but that SMP is long gone so now I uploaded it here for former members and new players to enjoy!

    This Datapack adds a ton of kaiju, both new and old, into the game that will spawn naturally. While mostly from the Godzilla Franchise, I might also add kaiju from other properties. You can also craft items from their drops to be as strong as a kaiju yourself!

    /function krmc:disable_kaijuPrevents kaiju from existing in your world.
    /function krmc:enable_kaijuEnables kaiju to exist in your world again.
    /function krmc:killallRemoves all mobs from your world.


    Compatible versions:
    - If you want to make sure it works, use 1.21+ and make sure none of your plugins, mods, or other data packs mess with this data pack's functions.
    - Anything below 1.21 will not work.
    - The old version of this data pack (that contains both kaiju and dinosaurs) is still available for download here. This version is meant purely for 1.20.4, Optifine is required for this older version.
    - I will never make versions meant for older versions of the game as there are already multiple mods and datapacks for those versions.


    If you want to use it in a video or Minecraft server, please just link the PlanetMinecraft link in the description or credits section. You are not allowed to repost this datapack or a modified version of it on any site (looking at you 9Minecraft).

    Where do I fiind Shimo? Also could I put the creatures from both your kaiju and prehistory mods on a lead and name them? Will they despawn if I don't name them?

    shimo should occasionally spawn next to skar king

    you can name them but depending on its base mob it may or may not be leashable

    most likely they will not despawn, but i will not test this since this pack is discontinued.
    though i must ask, what version are you playing this on in which the pack is successfully working?

    Hi, sorry for the late reply. Thank you so much for the info it is greatly appreciated. I am using 1.21 for the version. It's a bit
    glitchy with some of the mobs not being rendered when at the very side of the screen, some mobs spawning in the ground and not being able to get out of it or move at all, but I have loaded up some worlds and the newest I have played on is pretty stable and I like it. But I don't know how to see the Kaiju achievements it's not loading even when I found Mothra (Or do I need the Kaiju workbench to access it?)

    Also, where can I find Skar King if you don't mind me asking. And is there like a wiki or something similar you can tell me about since I have a few questions about this data pack, but I don't want to bother you very much.

    Never mind I can find the kaiju achievements now after I just found Mothra. Also, are you supposed to spawn w/ a kaiju manual book like the Prehistory encyclopedia since I only have spawn with that in my inventory. Finally, I forgot to mention how cool your data packs are. props to you man keep up the good work! :)

    nope there is no kaiju manual book. theres also no wiki or guides for the kaiju which unfortunately means youre gonna have to search aimlessly for each one, my bad.... but i do know skar king spawns in sparse jungles, and I can provide the spawn locations of some kaiju if its not too many of them

    Why not recontinue this pack? Weird birds is a good spiritual successor to the dinosaur pack... but theres nothing for this
