A very simple datapack, that adds random names to villagers AND make them speak when you click/trade with them.

No command required to start the datapack. Just /reload and have fun!

-Update #1: Added various villager natures [​Normal, Crazy, Elder, Smart, Rude, Friendly]

I will answer to you, same for the others. Sadly, I am not working on anything rn, maybe Mojang changed some command in 1.16.5, idk. When I'll come back, I'll try to fix it

Add more ways for them to talk normally right now they only talk when u buy somthing
make them talk something near other villagers!

Love it tho, works well on 1.16.4 Paper

I'm running version 1.16.3
It's kinda (but mostly not) working for me. It doesn't work for me at all in survival, and even when I turn on cheats to access the functions command, it seems to have no effect. It says it's loaded in but they don't chat when traded (beyond "rare" chats in creative") and shake heads when clicked with no trade.

Hi, I can't make villagers speaking. They are just shaking head while clicking. I have to make a combination with keys? (Sorry for my bad english)

No, when you click them they automatically send a msg. What's the game version? If you do /function, something appears?
