Minecraft uses six iron ingots to craft three doors, yet it takes four ingots and redstone dust to create one compass. This makes no sense. So, this data pack updates the compass recipe to use three iron nuggets, one iron ingot and redstone dust.

Hey, your mod doesn't seem to work for me, EMI now shows 2 identical recipes with iron ingots and not iron nuggets.

Sammycraft2002 So, I'm looking at the recipe file right now in the data pack, and it looks OK to me. I used Modrinth's "package as mod" to create the mod with the data pack, so it should not have changed anything. Will you please give me the following info:
  • The version of Minecraft you're running
  • The version of Cheaper Compasses you're using (should be in the file name)
  • A list of your data packs/mods (use command /datapack list)
  • A link to your log. You can upload it to mclo.gs/ and share the link with us (the website will automatically remove personal information). To get your log, go to minecraft > logs > latest.log.
Some follow-up questions:
  • Do you have Cheaper Clocks installed? If so, are you seeing the modified clock recipe?
  • Have you tried using Cheaper Compasses just as a data pack?
  • Have you tried crafting the recipe? (See gallery image.) If not, try crafting it. Did the recipe work? If so, does it show up in EMI?
