Christmas Gifts Generator!

Ever wanted to do a gift hunt on your server or just generate gifts for your players? This datapack comes with 6 loot tables that you can use in a variety of situations to give presents to people!

Now you may be wondering, how do I even do this? Not to worry! I've prepared an entire tutorial with pictures!

To get the base chest, do /setblock ~ ~ ~ minecraft:chest{LootTable:"derecs_christmas_gifts:chests/LOOT TABLE NAME"}



Replace LOOT TABLE NAME with your loot table name (did I just blow your mind?)

The following are valid loot table names
opgift1
ocean_gift_1
buttergift1
snowygift1
colorfulgift1
christmaslightsgift1
christmastreegift

This will then generate a chest with the items. DO NOT OPEN THE CHEST YET



Then, ctrl + mouse click the chest so you can copy the chest with its NBT data. This will be very useful if you plan on scattering the gifts around.



Now, you can place your copied chest down and each one will be different but draw from the same loot table you used!



In this photo, these three are all using "opgift1" but as you will see, they are all different inside
