This datapack requires the Origins mod for Fabric!
The Dark Priest is an origin that thrives in villages by sacrificing its inhabitants for blessing. It can sacrifice players as well! But beware of forgetting to please your god.
🏘 Middle of Nowhere
You're lucky enough to live in a village protected by your god.
🗡 Sacrificial Altar
You can build a special altar to keep your god satisfied with sacrifices. The schematic for this altar can be found in a book that you start with.
🛐 Divilethion's Blessing
You can sacrifice sentient entities who stand on your Altar, instantly killing them to apply a blessing to nearby players (and you).
> *Possible Blessings*
> Luck II (10 min)
> Strength I (10 min)
> Full hunger bar refill
> Full heal
> Nearby wheat/carrot/beetroot/potato crops grow instantly
🎁 Suppression
You can carry uncooperative villagers with a lead by right-clicking them. With [Primary] key and the lead in hand to drop your villager.
🛋 Comfortable Life
Being used to your peaceful village, you exhaust much quicker everywhere else.
😨 Panic Attack
Your vision worsens (via the Darkness effect) if a hostile mob's attention is drawn to you, unless an iron golem is nearby.
While you're affected by Darkness, you deal -5 damage.
⚡️ Necessary Evil
Failure to sacrifice someone for several days will inflict you with a slowing and weakening disease that fades only when you sacrifice someone.
