Data packs are fun to make, just setting them up takes a while. So here is a datapack template for you!
The load and tick.mcfunction files are empty, because they have to until you start making.
Change the example icon to whatever you want, it has to be called pack.png and be 64 by 64 pixels though. To change to 64 x 64, go here!
Click here to find an easy tutorial on how to make a data pack!
I would use Visual Studio Code for easy creating.
Remember to replace "namespace with whatever your datapack namespace is.
Also, if you want it to be for an older version, change the pack_format in the pack.mcmeta file to whatever game version the pack_format is for (since this is for the latest version), which you can find here, just make sure it is data packs, not resource packs.
