Deeper Storage stores a single item type up to Max Amount of integer (clearly larger than any chest)

Allows you to store massive amount of items in one block space. Whats more you can carry the storage in your inventory and relocate it.

Making Deeper Storage requires 7x Iron Block and 64x Chest and 1 item that will be stored (item from item list) to be put in a Dropper (Pic. bellow)

  Then stand on top of it to activate it. Will change like so:

Features
  • Works in Multiplayer
  • Accepts hoppers input/output
  • 1st Slot is kept full when possible(enough to take a comparator signal of 2), 2nd Slot is the input -- items are moved to storage
  • By being just 1 block and an entity it saves on Lag that would be caused by a storage with great Item Storage Amount
  • Does Not use scoreboard to store items
  • Can be moved -- just move the Dropper with its content(Deep Storage Holder) and stand on top as before to activate it

stored items (if any exist) are automagically put in first slot so the balance is maintained: you add items the are stored, you take items they are retrieved.
ps. might get an update for 1.16+

Thanks for making this data pack. Its super easy to add new blocks/items to the list of things that can be stored. Today I added Diamond blocks, Emerald blocks and Lapis blocks. Awesome! Keep up the good work.

Thanks for feedback, im glaad you like it and thats easy to add new stuff as i am currently out of ideas and just when i think i have one it already exists

Yeah, I think its a matter of editing like 3 or 4 files inside the .zip. Pretty easy. :+1:

Maybe i should make it so when "Deep Storage Holder" is in player inventory it will suck in items of its type....

Yes that would be nice, we have installed this but it will not craft, hate ask but can you provide a more detailed how to?

How to make it:
  1. place a minecraft:dropper
  2. put in it 7x minecraft:iron_block (as on the picture)
  3. put in 64x minecraft:chest (as on the picture)
  4. in the very first top left slot you put any item (from see: Item List) to be stored in almost infinite amounts
  5. stand on top of that Dropper (for about 2 seconds)
  6. now you have a almost infinite storage of that item, while 1st stack will always try to be full (in the Dropper) the 2nd stack will be consumed (and stored for later)
  7. .... if you have broken that Dropper after getting a Special Green Dye, just put it in another Dropper in the last slot and again stand on top of that Dropper
