Have something to say?
To use it, you must have 2,500 or more Determination and 3 hearts or less.
If you have 4 hearts and take fatal damage, it won’t trigger.
When both conditions are met, the "But It Refused" effect will activate, consuming 2,500 Determination in the process.
The only exception is the Love Soul (pink). Instead of giving you a buff, it applies debuffs—like Weakness and Slowness—to nearby monsters.
The Love Soul is also unique because it scales with the number of friends you have: the more friends, the more powerful it becomes, increasing both its effect strength and range.
Now, you might be wondering, "Why a pink soul? There's no pink soul in Undertale."
Well, pink is my favorite color, so I wanted to include a special pink buff just for fun! 😄
And about the pink soul, I already loved that you added something unusual, out of the cannon, and now when I know why you added it I like it even more :D
And great job with the datapack btw, it's something I wanted to see in minecraft tbh I didn't think that someone made something like this, especially this good. It's a very nice suprise to see this done already, because I was a bit scared that I'd have to do it by myself😅
Anyways, thank you for explaining and thank for making this, really great job! It looks simple, not too destructive but very fun and game changing in the same time - I love it😍
- Takes forever to finish projects because I lack motivation most of the time.
- Finally get a spark of motivation and start working on something.
- Get about 80% done – textures are looking nice, features are coming together.
- Mojang drops a new Minecraft update that completely breaks the project.
Jokes aside, the main reason I got into making datapacks was because they were mostly update-proof – they didn’t just die with every new version of the game.
But that’s kind of changed now – Mojang keeps changing how stuff works with every minor update.
And yeah, I get that they’re bringing cool new features – but the way they just break old systems without any care and go “not my problem” kind of ticks me off.
I know it’s a good thing in the long run – but for someone like me who takes their time and whose projects aren’t even that good to begin with, it’s becoming really hard to keep up.
I might finish this last project when 1.22 drops. No promises, though.
