"An augmented version of the Copper Golem."
This requires the Origins and Pehkui mods for Fabric!
The Electric Droid is capable of charging itself to blast enemies with massive damage or deal heavy damage over time. Its powers rely on Electricity, which can be charged in different ways.
Positives ✅
- Energize: Hitting mobs with attacks or skills charges up your Electricity bar by 2, up to 20. Being struck by your own skills or other forms of lightning will fill it instantly.
- Element Affinity: You take no damage from lightning strikes.
- Cloud Cushion: During thunderstorms, you will fall slower.
- Electro-Charged: Attacking enemies in water will stun them for a moment.
- Superconduct: Attacking enemies in cold biomes will reduce their armor value for a few seconds.
- Copper Layer: You have slight natural armor. It increases further if you are charging Discharge (see later).
Neutrals ⚙️
- High Voltage: Your skills charge creepers and turn villagers into witches.
- Highly Conductive: Whenever a lightning bolt strikes within 128 blocks, you will also be struck by lightning.
- Golem-Like: Your skin has the color of copper.
Skills 🔮
- Discharge (Hold Primary): Begin charging a powerful lightning ray for up to 3 seconds. The longer you charge, the more damage it deals. (requires at least 1 Electricity, drains over time while charging)
- Arc Flash (Secondary): Expend 10 Electricity to charge a lightning rod you're looking at, causing it to fire rays at other lightning rods that deal damage and apply True Blindness to anything that isn't another Electric Droid for a few seconds. Blinded enemies cannot follow players, gain the Blindness effect and their attacks will always miss.
Cons ❌
- Sinking: You will sink in water.
- Oxidizing: In water, you will begin taking damage every second (20% chance to activate).
- Unstable Engine: While charging Discharge or being near a lightning rod charged by Arc Flash, you will be slowed severely.
- Faraday Cage: Wearing armor greater than leather will block your skills from dealing any damage.
Currently known issues:
- Arc Flash's hits will briefly lag the world if they activate High Voltage. if anyone has any idea why, comment so this can be fixed
