Elemental Shields
Welcome to elemental shields, a datapack that adds 5 new types of shields, each having special abilities
It starts off with a netherite shield, which is then combined with the charm of your choice to turn it into an elemental shield
The elemental shields have their main blocking ability, which is the stand in for the vanilla shield block. With the netherite shield you will have the base of getting resistance III. With the elemental shields, the resistance effect is weaker, but you'll get an element specific buff in return.
Also, all shields excluding the netherite one have special secondary abilities that can be used by sneak+right clicking, and are on a 10 second cooldown.
