Required Resource Pack
80
REQUIRES 1.20.6 - This datapack makes use of item components, which aren't supported prior to 1.20.5/6. Versions starting at 1.20.4 are available in the Drive folder.
Resource Pack - The Resource Pack is required in order to use this datapack. It should be compatible with all versions from 1.20.4 to 1.20.6.
Commands Per Tick: 0
END RELAYS
This datapack adds the End Relay block to the game, a concept originally designed by Kenadian. The basic concept is as follows:
- Use a Lodestone Compass to cause the relay to target a lodestone
- Charge the relay using End Crystals, much like Glowstone on a Respawn Anchor
- Click the charged relay to teleport to the lodestone
- Don't try to use them outside the End, lest you discover [Intentional Game Design]
Changes from Kenadian's original design:
- The crafting recipe now requires an Eye of Ender instead of a Lodestone Compass
- The target is now found by right-clicking the placed relay with the Lodestone Compass, at which point the relay will "point" in the lodestone's direction using an arrow display entity
- Mining the relay always drops an empty relay item regardless of whether Silk Touch was used, and the applied compass will drop as a separate item (if present)
- BY POPULAR REQUEST - You can now right-click an uncharged relay to retrieve the compass that you've put in, as long as you're not holding an End Crystal (which would charge the relay).

No-More-Knowledge-Book Update : by Conure512 05/28/2024 10:09:35 pmMay 28th
Updated the pack to 1.20.6!
- This new version requires all items to conform to the Item Component format, so this version of the pack will not be compatible with previous versions. For legacy versions, check the drive folder.
- Crafting Recipe now directly outputs an End Relay rather than a knowledge book!
- Pack now has a pack.png (which is the sole reason for the file being larger than the previous version)
WARNING: If you were using this pack before, updating to this new version WILL break things. In particular, previously-crafted End Relay items will no longer work properly, and compasses inside of placed relay blocks will lose their data. It's recommended to place all your relay items down as blocks (placed blocks are most likely safe), and remove all compasses from any placed blocks, before updating to 1.20.6.
