REQUIRES 1.20.4 - This datapack uses "return run" functionality, which isn't supported up to 1.20.2.
Commands Per Tick: 0
END RELAYS
This datapack adds the End Relay block to the game, a concept originally designed by Kenadian. The basic concept is as follows:
- Use a Lodestone Compass to cause the relay to target a lodestone
- Charge the relay using End Crystals, much like Glowstone on a Respawn Anchor
- Click the charged relay to teleport to the lodestone
- Don't try to use them outside the End, lest you discover [βIntentional Game Design]
Changes from Kenadian's original design:
- The crafting recipe now requires an Eye of Ender instead of a Lodestone Compass
- The target is now found by right-clicking the placed relay with the Lodestone Compass, at which point the relay will "point" in the lodestone's direction using an arrow display entity
- Mining the relay always drops an empty relay item regardless of whether Silk Touch was used, and the applied compass will drop as a separate item (if present)
- BY POPULAR REQUEST - You can now right-click an uncharged relay to retrieve the compass that you've put in, as long as you're not holding an End Crystal (which would charge the relay).

Remove-The-Compass Update : by Conure512 01/07/2024 1:08:46 pmJan 7th
BY POPULAR REQUEST - You can now right-click an uncharged relay to retrieve the compass that you've put in, as long as you're not holding an End Crystal (which would charge the relay). Before, getting your compass back required either putting in a new compass, or mining the block.
