Upgradeable armour! No data pack did this - with the survival balance I wanted - so I made this.
Craft armour logically with the smithing table. Leather underlay, then chainmail, then plating. Crafting armour this way has these benefits and drawbacks:
All Armour
* Keeps enchantments (tip: leather has high enchantability!)
Leather and Chainmail
* Upgradeable
Iron and Gold
* Costs less metal, but more leather
Diamond
* Costs more, but can play with cheaper armour on an enchanting table before upgrading
All armour pieces have the same recipe as shown for chestplates. Also lets you chip anvils with flint at the smithing table ;)
