Contains the junk of the sea. Not great unless you're starving.

It has the same stuff as the common crate, but with some better stuff thrown in. Can rarely contain very damaged tridents.

Contains lots of prismarine, food, diamonds, and enchanted items. Sometimes contains enchanted tridents.

The rain crate is unlike any of the other crates. Not only is it the rarest, but you can only fish it up when its raining. It contains tons of prismarine, lots of diamonds, trims, tridents, and best of all - the tiderider boots.

Similarly to the rain crate, you can only fish this up during certain weather. This time though, you can fish it up during thunderstorms instead of normal rainstorms. It contains even more treasure than the rain crate, but most importantly, it sometimes contains the conduit chestplate.

You'll only be able to fish up the lush crate inside of a lush caves biome. It contains lush cave related items, diamonds, and enchanted diamond swords, helmets, and pants.

You'll only be able to fish up the dripstone crate inside of a dripstone caves biome. It contains dripstone cave related items, diamonds, and enchanted diamond pickaxes, boots, and chestplates.

The dark crate is the hardest to obtain of all. You can rarely fish it up, but only if you're inside of an ancient city. It contains sculk related items, echo shards, enchanted golden apples, many diamonds, and extremely powerful enchanted books.

Tiderider boots can sometimes be found in rain crates. They have as much protection as diamond boots, but only as much durability as leather boots. Wearing them will give you 20 seconds of dolphin's grace upon entering water.

A conduit chestplate can sometimes be found in thunder crates. It has as much protection as a diamond chestplate, but only as much durability as a leather tunic. Wearing them will give you 20 seconds of conduit power upon entering water.
