Welcome to Friendly Spiders!

  This Data Pack aims to do a simple thing, which is to make all spiders passive to you and other players in a server*, eliminating the need to worry at night dreading a spider attack. Or you could just be me and just enjoy, love, or care about spiders for what they are and aren't afraid of them and maybe want to keep one as a pet in your in-game world or in real life!


*This is my first Data Pack, so if you encounter an issue, or it doesn't work properly please let me know!

Finally, fixed the skeleton issue! Now only spiders are passive to the player and shouldn't be too much worry now! (Omega and huge thanks to PhantomEye for helping me fix the problem when I couldn't!)

I wish Mojang would consider making spiders TAMEABLE in the future.... I think if you could feed them a certain amount of zombie flesh that'd be a good taming item. Or maybe, you would have to feed them a bunch of zombie flesh during THE DAY. That'd be cool because it would be a good use of extra zombie meat, and also bc spiders are naturally passive during day. Plus it'd force you to 'capture' one at night first (which I have done before using fences bc I think they're cute). Spiders would be an awesome tameable mob bc imagine if you could put a saddle on them in order to ride em, then you could climb up walls on them XD

it be cool if your made a alt pack that makes them neutral like wolfs or zombified piglins

Maybe, I'd just like to keep it like they're a farm animal at the moment for now
