Gloomed and Doomed is a datapack that makes the player afraid of dark places.
If a player is in a dark area for 3 seconds, player starts fear.
After 30 seconds of being in the dark, players start taking 1 mental damage every third second.
Works in all dimensions
In the end and nether player scared of only absolute darkness
In overworld, dark places are determined by the phase of the moon, from absolute darkness during the full moon to darkish places during the new moon
Fortunately this can be avoided by holding a lantern or having a night vision effect
