With this datapack, the world's gravity changes slightly: you will jump higher in the End and lower in the Nether, while the Overworld remains unaffected. Additionally, the closer you are to the bottom of the dimension, the stronger the gravitational pull, and the higher up you are, the weaker it becomes.

Technically, the closer to the center of the earth you get, the lighter gravity should be, since you have less earth beneath you and more above you than you have on the surface

In purely physical terms, yes, but gravity would weaken if you descended very deep; however, if you descended just a few kilometers below the surface, gravity would initially increase before eventually decreasing.
