Coded and tested only on the 26.3 Snapshot-4 version!
(Mojang changed the syntax for the worldgen files, so it shouldn't be compatible with other 26.3 snapshots)

    • The datapack changes the color of grass in Dappled Forests to warm, olive green, letting it blend well with other adjacent biomes. Foliage is left default orange color.

The grass category includes grass blocks, short and tall grass, sugar cane and regular bushes, and foliage category - tree leaves of oak, jungle, acacia, dark oak and mangrove.

    • Poplar tree generation is now denser and fallen logs generate much rarer. As a side effect it allows hostile mobs to spawn under tree canopies during the day.

    • Pumpkin patches, regular and sweet berry bushes are now able to generate in this biome.
(yes, pumpkins do NOT generate in vanilla Dappled Forests)

    • Surface lava lakes and streams no longer generate there to prevent annoying forest fires.

Installation: as usual - drag and drop .zip archive into the datapack selection menu upon the world creation or into the datapack folder inside your particular, already existing save folder. As for the latter, note that the datapack won't change already generated chunks, including grass color.

      Have something to say?

For some reason, when I tried to use the datapack on 26.3 snapshot 4, it said the datapack was incompatible and "made for a newer version of minecraft" which is weird because it also doesn't work on snapshot 5 (which is the newest version). I don't know why it isn't working.

That's really weird. It is stated on the official site that Snapshot 4 uses datapack format 111.0 and that's what I used...

Wait I think i know why that happened, I think I accidentaly put it in my resource pack folder instead of my data pack folder.

Ahora has que sea compatible con terralith(cuando salga la version oficial), y que sea compatible con el datapack de mintrefresh de earth animals, que añade mas variaciones de mobs, asi que podrias hacerlo, please?

Don't know about the latter, but I believe it should be compatible with Terralith as my datapack mainly changes feature placement like trees, pumpkins, berry bushes. Terrain and biome placement are still managed by the vanilla code. Unless Terralith also tweak feature placement.

EDIT: I looked into the description for Earth Animals datapack and it looks like it should be compatible too as I didn't change internal biome name or anything. My datapack should go after Terralith, but before Earth Animals.
