I believe that the duplication of smithing templates are a little too easy, it encourages just mining diamonds instead of exploring the world. Especially for nehterite upgrade templates. So this datapack aims to fix that.


CRAFTING CHANGES:

For all armor trims the changes are as follows:
  • Replaces the 7 diamonds on the outside with the trim material (cobblestone, blackstone, terracotta, etc.)
  • Replaces the trim material in the middle with a diamond block

  With Harder Smithing:
   Crafting Recipe for Silence Armor Trim with Harder Smithing

For netherite upgrade template the change is as follows:
  • Replaces the 7 Diamonds on the outside with netherrack
  • Replaces the netherrack in the middle with a block of netherite
