Stay hydrated with Hydration mode, a datapack reminding you to drink water every time a rule is broken!

Access your water level by pressing tab.



The rules:
  • Placing a torch: 1 drink
  • Mining 3 iron ore: 1 drink
  • Mining 3 gold ore: 1 drink for everyone EXCEPT you
  • Mining lapis ore: random player drinks
  • Mining diamond ore: 1 drink for ALL PLAYERS
  • Mining redstone ore: Impervious to next consequence (NOT stackable)
  • Mining emerald ore: Double everyone EXCEPT your next consequence
  • Kill a creeper: 1 drink for everyone EXCEPT you
  • Falling more than 5 blocks: 1 drink
  • Dying: 5 drinks
  • 1 Drink for every second in lava
  • If a player gets too hungry and can't sprint: 1 drink for ALL PLAYERS
  • Tool check: Every five minutes, 1 drink per tool/sword in your inventory
  • Silk touch is allowed however picking up a block of ore is 5 drinks



    The rules can be individually toggled by using /trigger...

    I've done a little bit of testing with this. For actual drinking game i feel like this is a little too much... Thankfully I can disable some options

    What I suggest:

    - Cooldown the diamond one / notification that stacks or counts the number of drinks
    - Chat notifications: "Banskuzz found a diamond! Drink for it!" or something similar
    - Tool check time for a little longer
    - Notification who assigned the random drink (lapis). Could also be a chat notification

    Otherwise this has worked really well during testing of ours. I did disable the torch almost right away tho. We will be putting this to the real test next friday

    Does this only work in multiplayer? I was hoping single player worked but unfortunately it's not loading the datapack
