This is the 1.17 compatible version of this datapack. The previous version was compatible with 1.16.5.

Hi! I've created this weapons datapack with seven unique weapons obtainable by throwing certain item combinations on the ground. Here are some brief descriptions:

--Laser Eyes--
Craft by throwing a beacon & 32 redstone blocks on the ground (as items).

When held, this item shoots lasers from your eyes, destroying blocks & damaging enemies. It destroys up to 20 blocks a second and damages enemies for 20 damage per second.

This weapon requires fuel. Gain fuel by placing a redstone block, standing on top of it, and throwing redstone down onto the block. This will only work if the redstone is thrown one at a time or as full stacks of 64. Each redstone is worth 10 fuel.


--Mjolnir--
Craft by throwing an iron axe, 64 crying obsidian, and a nether star on the ground.

When held, this item has no effects. When dropped, this item strikes the location you are looking at with lightning. The weapon has a cooldown of 3 seconds. A timer will display above your hotbar.

--Blaster--
Craft by throwing a netherite ingot and 9 iron blocks on the ground.

Drop to activate ability. This weapon has both a cooldown and fuel requirement. Consuming 50 fuel per shot, you can fire a laser every 3 seconds that causes a large explosion that deals high damage.

Runs on the same fuel system as Laser Eyes.

--Ninja Star--
Craft by throwing a nether star and 8 netherite scrap on the ground.

Drop to activate ability. This weapon has a simple 1 second cooldown. It throws a small but powerful projectile. The weapon also has a stat of 6 melee attack damage, meaning combined with its base punch attack speed, deals very high dps at close range.

--Neptune's Wrath--
Craft by throwing a trident, gold block, and heart of the sea on the ground.

This weapon has no special abilities, but has riptide V, unbreaking V, and sharpness V, all of which cannot normally be supported by a trident.

Rain particle effects will surround any players that hold this weapon.

--Ender Staff--
Craft by throwing 16 ender eyes and 3 end crystals on the ground.

Drop to activate ability. This ability will teleport you to whatever block you are looking at. Max range 200. This weapon has the same damage but a slightly higher attack speed than the diamond sword. It also gives a speed increase when held (stacks with speed potions).

--Armageddon Blade--
Craft by throwing a netherite sword, a diamond block, and 32 magma cream on the ground.

Drop to activate ability. This ability will set nearby mobs on fire and throw them in the air. When held, this weapon provides fire resistance to the user. It is a netherite sword with sharpness 6 and unbreaking 10.

Lava particle effects will surround any players that hold this weapon.

Bugfix: Mjolnir would not activate its ability or cooldown. Now it will.
Bugfix: Ninja Star Projectile would not agro neutral mobs & would not harm the Ender Dragon. Now it will.
Edit: Laser Eyes will now detect hitboxes of mobs and stop.
