  • Create water pools in the Nether!

  • Adds Heatproof Water to the game via a crafting recipe

  • Not hard to craft, but also not super easy so that it has a semblance of balance.

  • Find Heatproof Water in nether structures like bastions, ruined portals, and nether fortresses!

I have a little bit strange idea, but, could you add and effect that this water boiling? with some vapor particle effects when and the confusing part, that makes a half point of danger for scorches but putting out the fire

not working i want a datapack with which water can work in nether with water bucket and name it as holywater

should work in singleplayer, might not work on a modded multiplayer server if it has bukkit
if you want something like that just make your own datapack or get someone else to make it

can you give more information? are you playing in singleplayer or multiplayer? this might not work if you are playing on any modded kind of server including spigot, bukkit, etc.

just released a fix that should let it work on bukkit servers, let me know if you are still having issues

even without mods it won't work because bukkit servers have little tweaks that can interfere with some datapacks. it's a problem with bukkit not with the datapack
