This DataPack allows you to make item frames invisible.

To make the nearest item frame invisible do /trigger hide_normal (/trigger hide_glow for glowing item frames) to make it visible again do /trigger show_normal (/trigger show_glow for glowing item frames)

How about a datapack that makes an item frame invisible once you put an item in it, and reappear once you take the item out
