Iron Golem Body Guards!


This datapack adds an iron golem body guard that will spawn to protect you every time you take damage!*

The Iron Golems have levels too. So if for example , you have 1 experience point and take damage, you will summon a level 1 body guard!

The body guards go up a level every time you go up by 5 levels.

*(Body Guards have a cooldown of 10 seconds.)


The datapack is turned on from the start, this means you don't have to turn it on or anything.

If you encounter issues use: /reload
(In some cases you may need to use /reload twice when you first install the pack, not sure why it does this.)

This datapack might be multiplayer compatible although it is not tested.


To install this datapack, look at the button underneath the download button which is very conveniently titled "How to install Minecraft Data Packs".

hey can you make a version where those bodyguards spawn replacing a summoned iron golem? (In case when you summon them on survival)?

do the bodyguards get stronger or tankier (more health/defense) for every level? I mean it would make sense if they did but you never know. Also just a suggestion: you should make it the higher the level you are the longer the bodyguard lasts (like every level gives an extra 2 seconds or something idk)

do they drop the sames things as normal iron golems? You can probably tell where this is going ;)

No, the iron golem body guards do not drop anything.

This is an intended feature so that they cannot be made into an iron farm.

Their purpose is to be a body guard, not free loot.

ok that makes sense just was wondering as I kill them a ton in my hardcore as my iron farm doesn't work for some reason.
