Introduction

Item Checklist (IC) provides a way to track your item-related progress. It monitors each player's inventory slots for items that can be obtained in Survival Mode and features several dialog screens that offer a complete overview of all collected and missing items.

Usage

Once IC is installed, it immediately begins scanning player inventories without requiring any additional setup. Accessing the item overview screens as well as IC's settings page can be accomplished by running the following command:

/trigger checklist

This opens IC's main menu:

Main Menu

Just like in Minecraft's native menu screens, you can navigate through the pages by left-clicking on the various buttons. For example, click ☰ Show All to view a list of all (obtainable) items in Minecraft:

Item Overview

To find out more about an item's status (missing / obtained), simply hover your cursor over it:

Item Details

Note: IC's item overview screens are paginated to display 100 entries per page. Use the ← Previous and Next → buttons to navigate between pages.

Settings

IC can be configured via the ✎ Change Settings sub-menu. The following options are available:

Animated Timer Notice
By default, only the item number is saved when a new item is added to your collection. However, if Animated Timer is installed, IC also saves the timestamp at which it was collected. If this option is enabled and AT is not available, you'll receive a reminder each time you reload the game.

Change Command Feedback
IC's user interface internally uses trigger scoreboards to detect a key press. This means that every time you press a button, you would normally see a chat message saying Triggered [checklist]... . If this option is enabled, IC temporarily disables the command feedback game rule while the UI is open to prevent the chat window from becoming cluttered.

Item Collected Message

If enabled, IC notifies all players visually and audibly if an item was collected.

Uninstallation

If you're not satisfied with IC, you may uninstall it at any given time. Use the following instructions to remove all scoreboards and NBT storages:
  1. Run /function ic-int:main/uninstall
  2. Remove IC from data pack folder
  3. Reload your world

Compatibility Notice

To ensure maximum compatibility regarding obtainable items, it is important that you use the correct build for your specific Minecraft version. The IC release featured on Planet Minecraft is usually for the latest available version (currently 26.1.x), so if you want to play on older versions of Minecraft, please check out IC's Modrinth page.

Hey, IC aims to provide a simple overview of all collected items. This can serve as a challenge, for example, in long-term survival worlds where players try to collect every item. Does that answer your question?

Yes

(but there is already the Statistic menu to see items already collected and more)

My initial goal was to create some kind of challenge that involves collecting different items to progress. This is still planned, but because the tracking and dialog systems were already functionally complete, I decided to upload them as a separate data pack for players that only require a general item overview rather than a whole challenge.

The Statistics menu may be an alternative in some scenarios, but I think IC provides important benefits such as multiplayer compatibility (items are tracked globally instead of individually) and not differentiating between Crafted / Picked Up items.
