  • A stone sword

I would recommend moving all your /give commands to a loot table and just making one call to loot give. Then you can include instructions to just change the data/kit/loot_table/kit file if they want a different loot configuration. This would also allow for using the "rolls" to give players a random item (like a sword OR a bow for example).

You could also change it to, instead of just giving a kit to everyone, let the players use /trigger to request a kit. Then you could have loot tables for archer_kit, melee_kit, explorer_kit, ... all of which would tag you as having received a kit of course.
