pack archived, its public so i can look at the old comments

This pack has been in the works for 6 months at the least, and it's one of my proudest accomplishments (future me talking this pack f*cking sucks lmao). JoCraft is a datapack for versions 1.15 and up that replicates some of the features from the anime and manga, JoJo's Bizzare Adventure.

Stands

Stands are a fundamental feature of JoCraft, and with the V3 Pre-release they are actually the only feature sadly.
Stands act as superpowered abilities that can range from rushing your opponent with punches to skipping time to shooting fingernails at them. Currently there are only 15 of them, but there are many more planned, as well as updates to the current ones.
To obtain a stand, throw an arrow, nether star, and gold block on top of a crafting table. This will give you the Stand Arrow. Place this in your offhand and you will get a randomized stand.
Most stands have 2 main controls, those being punching with the 9th slot or crouching with the 9th slot. Any punching or crouching referred to here will be on the 9th slot.

Star Platinum
Stand ID : 1
Star Platinum is mainly a melee stand, with the second most powerful rush in the pack. It has a max cooldown of 15 seconds and its rush ability costs 5 recharge per punch. Crouching with the 9th slot will stop time for 5 seconds in a 50 block radius, consuming all of your recharge.

The World
Stand ID : 2
The World is a seemingly equal counterpart to Star Platinum. The only differences are that the max cooldown is 30 seconds, you stop time for 10 seconds, and your punches are weaker.

Silver Chariot

Stand ID : 3

Silver Chariot is a very item-oriented stand. It gives you effects depending on what sword you're holding and if it is in your offhand or not. It introduces the idea of dual-sword fighting, swapping which sword you have in your offhand for a different buff. Its crouch ability is immense haste, basically reverting any sword combat back to 1.8 for 10 seconds.

Magicians Red
Stand ID : 4
Unlike its very useless V2 counterpart, Magicians Red is a defensive stand. It has one crouch ability, that being to effect anything in a 5 block radius with a seemingly endless flame. They will track a short fire wherever they go as well as have a permanent slowness effect. The only way to end this effect is to step on blue ice.

Crazy Diamond
Stand ID : 5
Crazy Diamond is a short-ranged stand with a Rush ability and a special Restoration ability. Attack rushing works exactly like it does with other rush stands, and restoration is tied to crouch. Given the recharge, it gives a short but overpowered effect of regeneration to the entity you're looking at, but it also knocks them back a great distance.

The Hand
Stand ID : 6
The Hand is probably the most powerful stand in the pack, given you waiting 10 minutes. It has a max recharge of 600 seconds and its ability is activated by punching anything in front of you, costing 60 seconds off recharge. It will not only greatly damage your target but teleport anything in a radius, sometimes including yourself, to its position. If you wait a full 10 minutes and your recharge is full it will instantly kill your target.

Echoes (Acts 1 - 3)

Stand ID : 7

Echoes is an evolutionary stand relying on XP. Each 10 levels will increase your act by 1, until you get to 3, act 1 being 1-9 levels, act 2 being 10-19 levels, and act 3 being 20+ levels.

Act 1 is a seemingly useless ability in singleplayer but it proves quite useful in multiplayer. It has a cap of 5 seconds on recharge and is a crouch ability. When you crouch, anything in front of you will infinitely have an anvil sound echoing through them until death, as well as a small slowness effect.

Act 2 proves to be quite the useful stand after you unlock it. Its ability is to create "sound effects" that on touch will act out accordingly. The one you get depends on how much recharge you used, the minimum being 5 and the cap-out being 15. Using 5 recharge will summon the Doguon effect, which on touch will knock anything a great distance, and then disappear. Using 10 recharge will create the Hyooo effect, which pushes any mob away from the central person touching it, until the effect disappears after about 10 seconds. Using 15 recharge will summon a very powerful Dorarara effect, seen in the Eyes of Heaven game. I think you know what that one does.

Act 3 has no recharge and purely relies on crouching. When you crouch, anything close to you will get a heavy slowness effect. the closer they get the slower they get.

Killer Queen

Stand ID : 8

Killer Queen is a very lethal stand. Anything you punch(with the 9th slot selected) will be turned into a bomb, and when you crouch with the 9th slot they will die in a very powerful explosion as well as damage nearby entities around them. Making any entity a bomb will cost 60 recharge, as well as override any current bombs. Triggering the bombs will not cost any recharge.

Stray Cat is an upgrade to Killer Queen that creates air-bombs. To obtain it, lure a cat onto a wither rose. To use it, place it in your offhand while KQ is your active stand. Instead of creating and triggering bombs, you now create impact-ignited air-bullets that will explode if they touch a block or an entity. This costs 60 recharge to activate.

Gold Experience

Stand ID : 9

Gold Experience is a stand with a heal ability and a rush ability, the latter activating as other rush abilities do. Its heal ability is activated with crouch, and will give you a short but overpowered boost of life. It costs 30 seconds of recharge.

Sticky Fingers

Stand ID : 10

Sticky Fingers is a unique stand with a rush ability as well as a "waypoint" ability. The rush ability is identical to GE.

Creating a zipper requires you to hold an enderpearl and crouch on the 9th slot. The enderpearl will be consumed, and you will be left with a zipper where you are standing. This zipper will dissipate the second you leave a 30 block radius of it.

Holding your 9th slot without a pearl will point to the nearest zipper in a 30 block radius with a particle indicator. If there are multiple, it will prioritize the one you are nearest to and show blue particles. Crouching will teleport you to the prioritized one.

King Crimson

Stand ID : 11

King Crimson has a rush ability(soon to be changed into singular blows) and a "time skip" ability. The time skip will essentially slow down time for everyone but yourself in a 50 block radius. It costs 60 recharge and it caps out at 60.

Stone Free

Stand ID : 12

Stone Free is a stand with a rush ability with equal strength to Star Platinum. It can also unravel it's user into "string." It has a max recharge of 30, and while you are in string mode it will slowly deplete. You cannot leave a 25 block radius of your unraveling position. To exit string mode, either go back to your original position of unraveling, or run out of recharge.

(Running out of recharge will teleport you back to your original position as well.)

Tusk (Acts 1-4)

Stand ID : 13

Ah, Tusk. My absolute favorite stand, and the one that I made about 17 times and took 3 days at most to make each time. It was worth it, seeing as its the most powerful stand in the game, rush ability included.

The acts are identical to Echoes in the way the leveling works, however Act 4 is unlocked in a different way.

Act 1 is a long-ranged stand that can shoot its fingernails by crouching with the 9th slot. There are a max of 10 (obviously) and they take 5 seconds to grow back. They deal weak but decent damage, and they have a 10 block range before the nail dissipates. Eating kelp will restore 2 fingernails.

Act 2 is an upgraded version of act 1 with a new built in ability. Its range is now 20 blocks. If the shot lands on ground before it exceeds 10 blocks, it will then spawn a "bullet hole" that will track the nearest entity and give them equivalent damage to if they were shot. Eating kelp will restore 1 fingernail.

Act 3 is also an upgraded version of act 2 with a similar ability to Stone Free. Its shots are now double the original strength of acts 1 and 2, and if you shoot directly downwards you will enter one of your "bullet holes." You can move around freely inside of the ground, as well as crouch to make fingernail shots through them. Exiting the ground (flying upwards) will exit the hole, and give you damage(seeing as you did just shoot yourself.)

Ahhh... Act 4.

To unlock Act 4, you must have unlocked act 3 already. You then need to ride a tamed horse for a total of 30 seconds at the minimum. The longer you ride, the longer you will have Act 4, but it has to be 30 seconds at the least.

Tusk Act 4 has 2 abilities- the Infinite Spin nail shot, and the Ora Barrage. The barrage works the same exact way as rush abilities, and deals twice the damage as Star Platinum, making it the most powerful punch in the game.

The infinite spin nail shot has a cap of 2 shots. Each nail takes 50 seconds to grow back. Shooting a nail will be equivalent to Act 3's strength, but whatever you shoot will then be imbued with the Infinite Spin. Infinite spin will constantly rotate the target around, and will remove the mob's ai. Shooting a player will endlessly rotate them around at an incredible speed. The effects can transfer to anything that gets touched by the entity, and it will only wear off after death.

Scary Monsters

Stand ID : 14

Scary Monsters is a stand that lets you morph yourself into a Dinosaur. The recharge cap is 30. To morph, crouch with the 9th slot. You will then get exponential strength, speed, and jump boost, but you will also have blindness. Any mobs in a 20 block radius will be indicated by particles, although it's easy to get tricked by an item or a fishing rod. As long as you are morphed, your recharge will go down every second. The second it hits 0 you exit morph mode.

Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap (D4C)

Stand ID : 15

D4C is a stand with dimensional capabilities. Not only can it pull an alternate version of a mob from a different universe, but it can also merge its user with a different version of them. To pull an alt. version of a mob, punch them with the 9th slot as they are between two blocks. Warning: if they get too close they will cause a great explosion.

To swap/merge with yourself, crouch twice with the 9th slot. This will clear anything that you aren't wearing or that isn't in your hotbar: be careful!

Are you going to be making a system where stands are only visible to stand users, kinda like how invisible players can only be seen by their team mates?

I'm curious because it might also give the STANDs a cool transparent effect when they're out

Got it, also one more question. Are you going to be adding a system to choose your own stand anytime soon or will that be included in the Whitesnake update?
