This datapack adds support for lead to villagers. Unethical but very useful for transporting them.

How to use:
1. find a villager
2. use lead on them
3. ???
4. profit

history
I have the most recent version and am running it on a 1.17.1 Fabric server. It seems to cause the lead to disappear when removing it from the villager, whether doing so while holding the lead or removing it from a post. Otherwise, working pretty smoothly.

Edit: Can't seem to reproduce it today, actually. Maybe the leads just fell somewhere inaccessible before. Not sure.

hello, adding this in paper server breaks villager breeding anyway to fix this?

Make sure to update the datapack to the right version. Using the 1.16.5 version in 1.17.1 will delete items that your holding and make tons of leads. This is not a bug, You just have to use the right version.

Hey dude, i identified a bug using your datapack with 1.16.5 minecraft. When I use right click on a villager with any item on my hand, an lead are being created, and when I click again this disarms the lead and multiplies it. I don't know if it's happening just with me, but I think it's good report

nice, this is perfect i hate dealing with villagers

can you change where the lead attaches though it appears to link to the middle of their head

Feels inhumane, but then I remember how chaotic & annoying villagers can be & I feel better about it. Good datapack.

please fix the glitch that leads a group of villagers once. It is an unfair advantage in my world and I want it to be fixed. Thank you.
